There are things in my life that I am very passionate about. Family, friends, career, self care, all resonate as very high priorities in my life. When I am passionate about a goal, and my motives are heart centered, the goal usually happens. The length of time that it takes is often related to the level of passion I have about accomplishing something. When I am not passionate about a goal, I simply don't do it. It might be a good idea in my head, but my heart hasn't grabbed it. It isn't feeding that spark within. Blah, who cares, is usually the feeling when I go after something I don't "really really really" want. I used to beat myself up like crazy when I didn't accomplish every goal I thought I wanted. My mind would go to "I must be doing something wrong, why can't I finish things I start?" Now I have accepted that goals are as fluid as my life journey. Just because a goal doesn't resonate with me right now, doesn't mean I can't pick it up later on. Embracing a more relaxed mindset about my goals and dreams helps me let go of my self-imposed limits. Not everything I think of doing can be done right now. It is physically impossible. The universe will guide me to the goals I need to be focused on. I am not advocating a "flighty" attitude here. When I adopt an attitude of "go with the flow" everything falls into place. People come into my life at exactly the right time, and I co-create what I feel guided to accomplish, alongside a unique support system.
What goals are you being guided to accomplish? Which ones can you let go of right now?
